Ramadan in the Middle East is the holiest and most worshipped month of the year for Muslims in the region. Ramadan is observed during the ninth month of the Islamic Lunar Calendar. The Ramadan calendar in Dubai will begin from March 23rd 2023 to April 20th 2023. In preparation for the holy season, the city is also set to launch Ramadan Cannons placed in various parts of the city including EXPO City, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Festival City, Madinat Jumeirah and DAMAC and Hatta Guest House. In honour of the Holy Month, the city will also issue several Ramadan guidelines and regulations including new working hours, public transport timings and more.

This year, the venue reinvents itself to launch ‘Hai Ramadan’ taking visitors on a cultural journey to share the value and rich history behind the holy period and plenty of iftar venues with international cuisines, for visitors to break their fast.
Dubai World Trade Centre
Held annually, DWTC will host a 10-day Ramadan Market starting from 5 PM to 2 AM, hosting a chain of endless retailers, traditional crafts and services as a homage to the country’s unique heritage. Apart from a chain of shopping vendors, the exhibit – set in an expansive, indoor space will also accommodate Iftar and Suhoor buffets for the holy month.
Global Village
Home to its ever-brilliant cumulation of international and local delicacies, street food, amusement parks and more – Global Village will start the month of Ramadan, decked out with a chain of heritage line-ups to reflect the season’s importance and history. Visitors will be able to indulge in endless delicacies, while live entertainment and traditional classical music add a lively ambience.
Khawaneej Market
Located on the Last Exit, the trendy open space will transform to accommodate families, children and visitors eager to learn more about the meaning behind the Holy Month. Alongside picture-worthy backdrops, families will be able to take part in a number of activities, storytelling sessions and live music during Iftar.
